Initial professional competence in Theoretical Physics – Quantum Field Theory, Theoretical Nuclear Physics. During last 20 years mathematical modelling in physics transformed into financial time series mathematical modelling and after that into mathematical modelling of economic and business processes. At present time research interests are related with Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models in macroeconomics, Technical and Fundamental analysis of Financial Markets, Economic Forecasting.

Dr. Günter Hofbauer is a full Professor at the Business School at Technical University Ingolstadt Germany. Professor Hofbauer completed an executive study program at Darden School, Univ. of Virginia (USA). In September 2023 he was appointed “Guest Professor” of Shenzhen Technology University/China.
He is vice president of the European Research and Working association and was president of the German Association of Marketing (AfM) from 2009 until 2017. He is the author, co-author and editor of 82 monographs and editorial books and authored more than 75 reviewed scientific articles. He is reviewer for Emarald and Publons and member of several editorial and scientific boards. His main research interests include new technologies & innovation and digitalization in business operations, which can be enhanced with the support of Artificial Intelligence.
